The AIDS Council of SA Inc (ACSA) provides information about HIV/AIDS particularly for gay men, people who inject drugs and sex workers. ACSA has links to sites specifically for women with HIV including HIV Women’s Project an SA based project run by Women’s Health Statewide which supports the health and wellbeing of HIV positive women and their families.

 

ACSA also links to sites providing safer sex information for women including Women and HIV a site from the Victorian Government’s Better Health channel and Girl2Girl information for women who have sex with women, run by Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT a not for profit community based organization.

 

ACSA run Darling House Community Library which provide information and resources for people with HIV/AIDS, their partners, friends and families. The library also contains material relevant to…lesbians, bisexual women, transgender people, intravenous drug users and sex workers, and lists sites for GLBTI (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Transgender or Intersex) groups including Bfriend.

 

The WSRC also has a large collection of fiction and non-fiction books relevant to lesbians and bisexual women, search our online catalogue.
